Amniotic Membrane Allograft Application at Home
An Advanced Wound Care Option, Applied in Your Home
Amniotic membrane allografts are thin tissue grafts, derived from donated placental membrane, that can be placed over certain chronic wounds as part of an advanced wound care plan. Valley Home Wound Care offers allografts such as AmnioAMP.
Not every wound is a candidate. Our clinicians first assess the wound and review your history, then — when it is clinically appropriate and part of your physician-coordinated plan — apply the allograft during a home visit and continue monitoring and dressing care at follow-up visits. Results vary from patient to patient.
